Coaches Without Borders was started in 2023 by the coaching staff of Uganda’s Senior Women’s National Team. The entire staff has been to Africa multiple times both by themselves, and with FCA Lacrosse. We all have a passion for the growth of the sport, so we have made the commitment to share both our passion and our knowledge to those who seek it.

The staff is both completely adept, and passionate about what lacrosse brings to the local community. We believe that there are four trainable areas of opportunity for sustainable growth, which are for:

• Players
• Coaches
• Officials
• Administrators

On top of that, this staff is trained in 360 Coaching. This is the faith-based version of 3D Coaching and with the curriculum set for the FCA. The 360 Coach Bible Study is a companion resource to guide coaches through a biblical approach to coaching the heart, mind and body. We offer this training as well.

We have seen first-hand exactly how lacrosse has impacted lives of those in underserved communities. Since many young players do not complete school, the lacrosse field is where these players learn life’s lessons. And to many, a hand-me-down stick might be the most valuable thing these players own. Playing lacrosse does not just enable those to escape the hard living conditions. It brings pure joy to an entire community.

Unfortunately, equipment and other training pieces need to be both donated and muled-over. We have made the commitment to be those liaisons. Please consider donating new and used equipment to a lacrosse player in need.
